With soaring real estate prices, lack of affordable housing is a paramount issue in the Roaring Fork Valley. The YIMBY campaign is designed to raise awareness about the broad spectrum of community members, from teachers to doctors, government to liberal professions, non-profit to construction workers, all of who benefit from employee housing. Our website is intended as a portal to information on affordable housing and links to pertinent resources. In providing information about affordable housing efforts and by highlighting the successes of current and past projects, we hope to defuse the myth that affordable housing projects are havens for crime and “unkempt blights” on a community.

We have expounded upon and updated Roaring Fork Leadership (previously “Leadership Aspen”) Class of 2000’s mission to educate and inform the public about affordable housing.
